Trevor started at iCademy in 8th grade. When he graduates, he plans to either attend college or jump into a career in information technology (IT). When asked how he became interested in IT, Trevor said, “I’ve been interested in computers since I was little. I’ve also helped with programming the lights at my church. The more I’ve learned, the more my curiosity has grown.”
Time to Pursue Passions
Going to school at iCademy gave Trevor the opportunity to take classes at the tech center and the time to participate in FIRST Robotics. “Being able to compete in FIRST Robotics competitions was a big inspiration for me to stay on top of my grades,” Trevor said.
Trevor’s favorite thing about attending iCademy has been the flexibility he has. He enjoys being able to schedule meetings with his teachers whenever he has a question or a topic to discuss. ”The teachers are very understanding and always help when you get stuck or fall behind on work,” Trevor said. He also appreciates the ability to shift his schedule to finish homework and attend lessons when it works with his other activities.
Taking the Lead in Your Education
Trevor feels like iCademy has helped him mature as a student. He is more comfortable managing his time and taking responsibility for mistakes or missed assignments. He thinks this growth will help him in his future career.
Congratulations on graduating, Trevor! We’re looking forward to seeing your continued growth.
