RISE PRIZES AND RISE STORE

RISE Store Opening

As we are wrapping up the semester, you might be getting questions from students about the RISE store. We are happy to announce that the RISE store will be opening Tuesday, January 24th. A few things to know:

1. Almost ALL of our prizes are virtual this year, and can be sent directly to student/parent emails. Those few small prizes that are not digital are already at the school building.

2. RISE points will not carry over to next semester, so use those points or loose those points.

3. We will be using the leveled system for prizes, and students can cash in their RISE points for 1 reward from the level of points they earn.

The big question that is on your mind is, “What will I have to do?” Well the good news is we on the PBIS team will be taking care of student prize selection, prize delivery, and confirming the delivery of RISE prizes across all three cell levels. The only thing we will need your help with is distributing this poster. So please, spread this out to your mentor students and let them know an email for prize selection will come out next week.

FROM MS. ROBYN – State Testing Device Information For Families

Please remind your students to “power down” (closing the lid is different than powering down) their devices at the end of each school day.  This will allow the device to check in and run Windows updates more frequently which will allow less disruption to the school day.  The more frequently the device is “powered down” then the more frequent updates can run.  The less frequently the device is “powered down” then the less frequent updates will run.  This will cause updates to become backed up so that when the device is “powered down” updates will take a considerable amount of time to run.  As always please feel free to reach out to me (robyn.parks@icademyglo0bal.org) anytime with questions or concerns regarding iCademy technology.  Or enter a work order using the link – https://vectortechgroup.com/support/
