Nov 11, 2019Newsletter

Thanks!

Big thanks to Grace for letting us interview her last week during our Friday live session! It was so fun to learn all about her experiences in figure skating and getting a chance to see how she spends her time when she’s not doing school – Good luck at your competition in Texas, Grace!

Thanks to best selling author, Bryan Mealer for visiting last week! Mr. Bryan is the author of The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind.

We had students onsite at Innocademy as well as our virtual iCademy Students (and teachers!) participate with Mr. Bryan!

Marketplace Reminder for This Week – Everything You Need To Know

If your student is participating in Marketplace this year, please take a peek at the calendar outlined, below:

Questions? Please contact Ms. Jody at jody.voss@innocademy.com

Angel Tree – Do You Know an IES Family in Need?

Do you have or know of an Innocademy Zeeland, Innocademy Allegan, Precademy or iCademy Global Family who has a need this holiday season, that we can help bless you with? We love taking care of our own little community, and helping with needs when they arise, which includes Christmas. If possible, once we meet the needs of our IES families, we would love to open it up to folks you may know in the larger community.

Again, this year we will offer an Angel Tree opportunity, open to all IES families; Precademy, Inno Allegan, Inno Zeeland and iCademy. Needs will be compiled into a Sign-Up Genius and shared with all to select from, and help provide.

Please do not worry, as this will all be anonymous.

Should you have some specific needs this year – – – or know of a family that does, please send an email request BY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd, to janece.ellers@icademyglobal.org

All requests will be viewed by our Angel Tree Coordinators, Ms. Janece & Ms. Mandy (both from iCademy =). Once all requests have been received, you will hear back regarding your needs with specific details.

We wish for all families to enjoy their holidays, so please let us know how we can brighten yours.

Christmas Parade – Participants Needed

Innocademy and iCademy Global will again be participating in the Zeeland parade on Monday, December 2. The parade marches through downtown Zeeland beginning at 6:30pm. We will have limited space for students to ride on the float, but would love to welcome tons of walkers next to the float! No need to sign up and everyone is welcome! We will send out more details as they become available closer to the date.

Does your child plan to attend any onsite time at iCademy Global this year? For those families who have a child with a medical concern (ie. Bee allergy, peanut allergy, asthma…) it is important that a copy of their Emergency Action Plan/Asthma Action Plan is on file.  Please complete the attached documents and return them by August 30th.  Thank you!
