COUNSELING CORNER

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Although this is a very sensitive and difficult topic, it is so important to talk about and be aware of.

iCademy has joined many other Ottawa County school districts in partnering with Spectrum Health’s Blue Envelope program (Blue Envelope Info). Staff have been trained and are better prepared to look for and respond to any situation of concern with a student.

iCademy’s team of counselors and social workers are always here for you. If you have any questions, concerns, or need to be connected to resources, please reach out:

Bonnie Harris (K-8 Social Worker) bonnie.harris@iesschools.org

Haley Prins (K-8 Counselor) haley.prins@icademyglobal.org

Kate Meengs (6-12 Social Worker) kate.meengs@icademyglobal.org
