MIDDLE SCHOOL SYNERGY SESSION – GRAND RAPIDS PUBLIC MUSEUM
Our upcoming iCademy synergy session to the Grand Rapids Public Museum will be Tuesday, March 28th.
Time: 10:30-1:30 (There will be a bus leaving from the Homestead Campus at 10am)
Location: Grand Rapids Public Museum
Cost: The cost is $5 per student and $8 for parents or adults
*Your student may come to ReFuel on the day of the Synergy Session. If you live closer to Grand Rapids, you may meet us at the museum at 10:30. Please make sure to check with your child’s mentor for questions.

TECHNOLOGY NOTE FROM MS. ROBYN
Hello iCademy friends and families.
Now that we are into the start of the 2022-23 second semester we need to start looking toward the 2023-24 school year and what new fun and exciting things that brings to us as learners. For the 2023-24 school year, we will be migrating away from a Microsoft environment and into a Google environment.
What does that mean for students for the 2022-23 school year?
That means if there is anything in students’ Microsoft accounts such as projects, homework, or papers that students would like to save then a copy of the document needs to be saved to a personal account prior to the last day of school June 21st. We are excited for this transition and all of the possibilities it will bring to our students/families and look forward to walking side by side as learners and educators.

OK, Hand2Hand is firing up again for the year, and attached is the sign-up form. A few things to know:

- Hand2Hand is a weekly food bag distribution, provided by Vertical Church (yay to them for this partnership!!). Read the attachment for more info.
- There are no qualifications, other than just signing and returning the form. Families can continue to sign up throughout the year.
- Bags are distributed on Thursday mornings and we attempt to put in lockers/cubbies during the lunch hour.
