Angel Tree Requests – Due TODAY 17th
As an IES family, we value all the members of our community and have a heart to give to those who are struggling. With the holiday season approaching, we know that there are many people who may need assistance in one way or another.
If you are an Innocademy Zeeland, Innocademy Allegan, iCademy Global, Precademy or Las Huellas family and you need help with food/gas/clothes/gifts/etc. this Holiday Season OR if you know of a family in need, please reach out to Rachel Potter at rachel.potter@innocademy.com by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17th and she will send you (or the family you nominate) a form to collect the necessary information to receive from the Angel Tree. All names will be kept confidential. As much as we’d like to help all year round, please know we will be unable to accept requests after the 17th.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE REGISTERING WITH RACHEL, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PICK UP YOUR ANGEL TREE ITEMS AT OUR CAMPUS IN ZEELAND.
Live Locally? Want To Join Us at the Zeeland Christmas Light Parade? It’s Not Too Late!
Again this year our Homestead Campus IES Schools, Innocademy, Precademy, Las Huellas and iCademy Global will be hosting a float in the Zeeland Magical Christmas Parade to be held on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH.
HUGE thanks to Renee Nyhof for coordinating this event as well as providing the float and vehicle! We appreciate you!!!
If you and your child (all participants must have a parent present) would like to dress in fun Christmas colors, costumes and lights and walk with us in the parade handing out candy and info about our schools, please sign up HERE for the fun!
We will not have float riders this year, all participants will walk next to the float. Strollers and wagons are welcome – please decorate them with lights, if possible.

Live Locally? FREE Monthly Stem Workshops – Updated Info!
The program is called Exploring Engineering and STEM and is for tweens 8-12years old. Each month we focus on a different career area of STEM. One or more professionals will share what they do for a career with the kids and how they got into it, plus answer questions. Then kids do a hands-on activity related to the career area. The program meets once a month on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 PM, at the North Branch of Herrick District Library located at 155 Riley Street in Holland. No need to sign up ahead of time, simply show up if you would like to attend.
URGENT REMINDER – HOMESTEAD CAMPUS IS A NUT-FREE SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Because we have students and staff with life-threatening allergies to peanuts and tree nuts it’s incredibly important that we are vigilant about remaining a completely nut-free campus.
If your child visits Re:FUEL please make sure anything they bring for a snack or lunch does not contain peanuts or tree nuts. For some of our students and staff, unknowingly touching an area besmudged with nut residue or nut butter of any sort and then touching their mouth, eyes or nose is enough to send them into anaphylactic shock, closing their airway and necessitating immediate life-saving medical attention. Thank you for your help in keeping all of our students and staff safe.
Get Outside Initiative
Let’s Highlight Your AMAZING Kiddos!
We want to showcase the awesome things our school community is doing across our social media pages! Did one of your children accomplish something awesome outside of school? Do you have pictures from a Field Trip / Special Event that should be highlighted? Did a student submit an assignment that impressed you? Please use THIS FORM to simplify the process! *please note, there is a 5 image MAX, choose wisely.* -Social Media Team
